Korean White Ginseng

Korean ginseng, a.k.a. Panax Ginseng is one of the most widely used herbs in the world.  Chinese, Korean, red, and white ginseng all come from the same plant.  The difference is where it is grown and how it is produced.  The properties are also slightly different between all of them.  We are talking today about the Korean white ginseng.

 

Korean white ginseng has been used all through history for health as a medicine and a tonic.  It is

said to promote longevity and vitality among other things, such as: physical and mental enhancement especially for the elderly, mood enhancement, anti-stress and anti-fatigue, helps to lower your blood sugar and your cholesterol, it can help with impotence, it also has antioxidant properties as well as helps your immune system fight off cancer.

 

You should always research which ginseng is right for you and consult your doctor before starting any new herb regiments.  Korean white ginseng is a stimulant and can cause you to become over stimulated, irritable, and nervous.  Also, ginseng is not an herb you can take over long periods of time.  You usually take it for a few weeks, then stop for a few weeks.  If you take it for to long it can cause complications such as headaches, insomnia, and dizziness.  You should not take in large doses of caffeine while taking ginseng
