Bentonite Clay

What is it? Bentonite Clay is actually volcanic ash pulverized into fine clay. Once this clay is wet, the electrical and molecular compounds change making it attract impurities such as toxins and heavy metals out of the body.

"The Native Americans call it "Ee-Wah-Kee" meaning  "The-Mud-That-Heals" Bentonite, as well as other types of healing clay, has been used by indigenous cultures since before recorded history.  "The Amargosians (predecessors to the Aztecs), the Aborigines, and natives of Mexico and South America all recognized the benefit of clays. " "...healing mud not only draws toxic material out of the body if taken internally, but also reduces pain and infection in open wounds on both humans and animals."

Bentonite has been used internally for detoxification of the body, colon cleanse, removal of toxins and heavy metals, and externally for facial masks, a healing clay for injuries or skin irritations, eczema,  headaches, carpal tunnel, infections and the list goes on.

You can drink the clay in water (1tsp-2tbls/8oz depending on physical stature), eat it in apple sauce or mix 2-3 ounces into your bathwater and soak for 20 minutes.  To make a mask, add one part clay to three parts water or until you reach desired consistency, mix thoroughly to an even paste and apply to skin.
